Magnetic instruments.- In a receiver as claimed in the parent Specification, the pole of the permanent magnet e which is connected to the core d is magnetically insulated from the casing by washers f, g, and the magnetic circuit is completed through the diaphragm band the sheet iron casing by connecting the other pole to the casing by means of an iron washer. The magnet may be semicircular and be wholly within the casing.
