Abstract
204,920. Headley, F. H. Oct. 21, 1922. Head-rests.-A back-rest 7 for a folding or other perambulator is carried by a U-shaped member 1, the arms 2 of which are pivoted to plates 6 secured to the sides of the vehicle above the main seat 8, to adapt the rest to be moved backwards out of the way to the position shown, or to be brought forwards to shorten the seating accommodation and support the child when sitting upon the front part of the seat 8. Movement of the back-rest is limited by the engagement of stops 5 on the plates 6 with the outwardly cranked ends of the arms 2.
