Abstract

186,944. Henderson, T. E. W. T. July- 28,1921. Seats.-A seat for cycles and the like has a folding back G, folding arm-rests H, and detachable foot rest T and dress-guard N. The footrest is adjusted by folding about pivots P, Q in which adjusted position it is retained by spring bolts O which take into holes U. The seat F is resiliently supported on the fixed frame by four bell-crank levers A, which are pivoted to the seat and to the frame, and have their free ends joined by a rod C spring urged by a coiled extension D.
