Folding-seats,. rests, foot.-A folding seat comprises front legs 2, secured to the bottom 1 and hinged at 3 to the floor 4, connected by links 9 to rear legs 6, hinged at 5 to the floor 4 but not permanently connected to the bottom 1, so arrarged that as the seat is folded forwardly about the pivots, the leg 6 are folded down into a horizontal or an inclined position, Fig. 3. The rear legs 6 may be joined by a transverse bar 7 which may be used as a foot-rest when the seat is folded. The bottom 1 may, if desired, be temporarily attached to the bar 7, by a clip, when the seat is in use.
