[Class 108 (i)] [See also Group XIV] A collapsable invalid or juvenile car or chair comprises a chassis a mounted on wheels d and provided with a footrest g and a spring-controlled brake bar e, pairs of side members f, f<1> pivoted to the chassis a and carrying the seat h and arm-rests i being locked to hold the seat in position for use by a sliding spring-controlled transverse member m attached to the rear side members f and co-operating with a notched quadrant l attached to the chassis. The member m is provided with a central pad for foot operation and is held in engagement with a selected notch o by its stiff suspending springs n.
