Vehicle lamps.-In a vehicle lamp, the source of light is placed at the focus f<1> of an elliptical reflector a and an horizontal reflector b with its centre of curvature at the focus f<1> is arranged facing the reflector a, the edges of the reflectors being contained in a plane passing through the focus f<1> and perpendicular to the principal axis. In an aperture or an extension d of said aperture in the reflector b is arranged a diverging lens or combination e so that its vertical focus coincides with the conjugate focus f<2> of the reflector a. The edges of the reflectors a, b are joined by a ring c, and the reflector a may be substituted by a corrected Maugin mirror. The lens e may be carried by a tubular extension which may be adjustable.
