3776. Westwood, F. Feb. 15. Reflector signals.-A reflector device for attachment to the rear of a cycle or other road vehicle to reflect back external light comprises a concavoconvex lens or a bi-convex lens of moderate focal length, or a combination of such lenses, together with a concave or annularly-grooved concave reflector, as shown at C, D in Figs. 2 and 4. A short cylindrical casing may be used as shown at E, Fig. 2, with a back-plate slotted to take a clip or band for attachment to a mud-guard, tool-bag, etc.; or a longer form of casing may be used as shown in Fig. 4, with raised strengthening beads A and a cylindrical reflecting-lining B. According to the Provisional Specification, the device may be of the selfluminous type and may be fixed to a post.
