Abstract
374,645. Lamps combined with reflex reflectors. KENYON & CO., Ltd., A., KENYON, W. H., and GORTON, C. W., Victoria Bridge, Manchester. June 27, 1931, No. 18601. [Class 75 (iii).] In a road danger lamp comprising a rectangular body having three sides fitted with diffusing lenses and the fourth with a door to give access to the burner, one or more reflecting lenses D, separate from the diffusing lenses C, are fitted to the body A, the hood B, or the handle b so as to reflect upwardly light received from the lamps of oncoming vehicles. The reflecting lenses may be arranged to form a direction arrow or the word " Danger " and they may be mounted in a frame E which may be soldered, brazed, or otherwise permanently secured to the lamp or which may be provided with clips or loops e<1> for its removable attachment.
