198,730. Marks, E. C. R., (Beloit Iron Works). Feb. 7, 1922. Addition to 193,113. Fourdrinier paper machines.- In a Fourdrinier machine of the type described in the parent Specification, the table 1, after its feed end has been raised, is lowered on to removable rails 59, and moved laterally on to adjacent rails 64. Rollers 57, 58. mounted on the table 1 and running on the rails 59, are driven from a motor 67 through gearing 68, 69, 71, 72. Shaking of the table is permitted by mounting the right hand end on a rocker 20, a projection 21 in which fits into a recess in the under side of the table. Where the table is provided with stationary vacuum boxes, the stationary portion 80, Fig. 6, is pivotally connected at 81 to the shaking portion 1<a> of the table, and the suction boxes are supported by uprights 82, 83,. having removable rails 85 which can be raised to the rollers 87 by cam levers 84. The rollers 87 are driven from the motor 67 through gearing 90, 91, the two portions of the driving shaft being coupled by an universal joint 89.
