Abstract

Feeding - devices for endless-chain elevators. -Material is fed from a heap to an endless-chain elevator 7, shown in plan in Fig. 3, by inwardly sweeping scrapers 17 mounted on cranks 15, Fig. 5, driven by the endless-chain through bevel-gearing and having at their inner ends rollers 20 working in guides 16. Downward extensions are provided underneath the scrapers.
