Abstract

192,605. O'Keefe, W. M., (trading as Adaptable Moulding Machine Co.). Jan. 28, 1922. Moulding - machines. - Machines embodying camoperated jarring-mechanism of the type described in Specification 131,713 are provided with a carriage running on horizontal guides and fitted with mechanism for inverting the mould during transfer to a pattern drawing table. The bottom or pattern plate b is fitted with brackets c carrying rollers d to run on rails e. Antifriction rollers f run in a groove in the plate b and the end of the groove serves to locate the plate over the jarring mechanism. A handle h facilitates inversion and is clamped at i to secure the plate in the inverted position during drawing by a table g actuated by a wire rope j and winch m driven by a clutch from the shaft n. The same clutch serves to drive selectively the cam shaft o.
