205,623. Prewett, C. G. Aug. 19, 1922. Circular-saw machines.-In a vertically-adjustable circular saw of the type which is moved towards or away from the feed end of the bench whilst being adjusted, the saw spindle d is carried eccentrically in a pair of discs h which are mounted in circular tracks j and keyed to a shaft i. A toothed sector l on the shaft i is rotated by means of a hand-operated worm m so as to adjust the saw spindle. A sprocket wheel on the worm shaft serves to adjust jockey pulleys p, q for the driving belt. The space between the discs h may be used as an oil bath.
