Driving - arrangements.-In electrically driven spinning, doubling, twisting, and like machines the driving-motor 2 is supported on a framework B secured to the top of the endframe A of the machine so to enable a long driving-belt 4 to be used, the framework serving also as a belt guard. The motor is pivotally mounted on a bracket 6 secured to the framework B, and is supported by a spring 7 mounted on an eye-bolt between adjustable check-nuts 10 and a member 9 which engages an extension 2a of the casing.
