Abstract

192,294. Rowley, A. J. Feb. 14, 1922. Facing-blocks; flooring-blocks.-A wall or floor consists of two series of obliquely-angled blocks or tiles 3, 4, which have slots 7 for locking together opposing tiles. The tiles of adjacent courses are reversed so that the angular spaces 9, 10 extend in alignment vertically for the height of the wall, and concrete is poured therein. For floors, the tiles are laid as shown in Fig. 6, and the slots made deeper so that an opening 17, Fig. 5, is left between the inclined ribs; a bar 20 is supported by stirrups 21, and concrete is poured in the spaces 17, 18, 19.
