Abstract

141,620. Hodges, P. W. O. Oct. 18, 1919. Building-blocks.-A constructional toy consists of a series of block or brick sections, Fig. 3, each built up or constructed to represent two or more blocks or bricks of a size proportionate to ordinary bricks, the blocks of the various courses of each section being rigidly connected together or cut from the solid. The projecting ends of the courses of a section can be fitted into those of other sections so that a wall or other structure can be built up. The sections may be arranged to represent the well-known systems of bonding bricks, and may be used in conjunction with parts representing doorways, window frames, &c. Flat I-shaped piers 4, Fig. 9, which may be fitted together as shown, may be used as tiles or to form paths or pavements. These flat pieces may be made with circular projections which interlock with recesses of similar shape in adjacent pieces.
