Abstract

279,981. Gooding, W. J. Sept. 6, 1926. Building blocks, special shapes of.- Hollow building blocks interlock so as to provide additional air spaces in the wall of the same dimensions as the holes through the blocks. In Fig. 1 a T-shaped block is formed with air spaces 1 and is arranged to form similar additional air spaces 2. Corner blocks as shown in Figs. 1 and 4 respectively, are used in alternate courses. Fig. 3 shows an end block for finishing a wall at a window or door opening.
