Abstract

248,937. Warren, H. P. April 2, 1925. Building blocks, special shapes of.-Blocks for walls with concrete filling are made open at the top and bottom and with slots or apertures h, j, Fig. 5, so shaped that bars or tubes n may be passed diagonally through at least three courses. The blocks for the outer walls are preferably made with an inner web g, Fig. 2, leaving an air cavity f on the outer face; the cavity e may be wider than the cavity f. The blocks may be formed of concrete or brick and may be ornamented externally and be formed with ceiling mouldings on the inner face.
