Double walls.-Relates to the double wall described in the parent Specification in which the blocks interbond and have the air space divided by an insulating sheet 6 of waterproof material, and consists in the provision of projections 3 on the blocks to space the sheet 6 from the inner faces and seal the tops of the air spaces so that mortar does not fall therein. One or more bosses 4 may also be provided on the inner faces. The blocks or slabs may be made of brick or concrete and may be hollow.
