Abstract

191,517. Stubbs, J. W. Oct. 29, 1921. Spray carburettors comprise a tubular body through a reduced portion A of which slides a coned winged plunger B connected to a fuel valve D. Air enters at E. As the plunger is moved to the left a gradually increasing throttle opening is produced and when it is released it first closes the mixture and fuel passages and on still further movement again opens the throttle passage to admit air only. A second valve C is piovided on the fuel pipe.
