Abstract
3036. Hall, I. March 23, 1914. Gaseous-fuel furnaces. - Low-pressure atmospheric gas burners 1 for use in connexion with a metal - heating furnace are mounted on a common supply chamber 2 of oompara.tive]y large size. The burners may be of the form described in Specification 5888/14, [Class 75 (i), Burners &c.], and the gas supply to the chamber may be regulated by thermostatic devices of the kind described in Specifications 20.172/12, [Class 125 (iii), Stoppers &c.], and 26,583/13, 28,346/13, and 6016/14, [all in Class 64(ii), Heating systems &c.]. Where more than three are employed, the burners may be arranged in two rows with their tubes projecting at first horizontally from the gas chamber and then bending into the vertical. The furnace is similar to that described in Specification 7238/14. Specification 5000/14, [Class 75 (i), Burners &c.], also is referred to.
