Abstract

1979. Eichelkraut, W. Jan. 27, 1913, [Convention date]. Epicyclic toothed gearing for obtaining a large speed reduction comprises two gears F, D secured close together to a driving-shaft V, and two corresponding internally toothed gears C, C' of unequal diameter, which are secured together and turn loosely supported by a web C<2> at one side of the gearing. The gears F, C are connected through an intermediate gear G, which turns on a pin carried by a fixed frame A. The gears D, C<1> are connected through a planetary gear E carried by an arm K secured to a driven shaft W. In a modification, power is imparted to a shaft carrying the gear G, instead of to the shaft of the gears F, D.
