Spray carburettors.-In carburettors in which the air-valve is lifted by suction and falls by gravity, the valve c has a large stem d containing a well q of fuel into which dips a comparatively large-bore nozzle r. The well q is in communication with the float chamber k through passages o, i and a passage controlled by an adjustable pin p.
