In the form shown, the vessel is divided into two compartments o f different capacity by a diaphragm b, and a valve K is operated by a handle 0 to open or close communication through the diaphragm according as the whole vessel or onlv the lower half is to be utilized. The two air valves at the top of the previously-described arrangement are here replaced by a single float valve N, and the lower chamber communicates with it by a pair of tubes M.
