188,922. Kenney, N. J. H. Oct. 28, 1921. Addition to 104,956. Limbs, artificial.- In an artificial foot as claimed in the parent Specification, wherein a compression spring is housed within the foot interposed between the toe portion and the bolt carried by the leg supports, a resilient buffer is placed behind this bolt to permit of forward movement of the upper end of 'the leg supports relative to the foot. A bracket d<2> attached to the foot has bearings for a bolt d<1> carried by the leg-supports d and serving as an ankle joint. The lower extremities of the leg supports carry a bolt c, against the front of which bears the compression spring a. The back of the bolt c bears against one of a pair of blocks e', e<2> which are recessed to carry one or more springs f<1>, f<2>, f<3> concentrically arranged around a retaining bolt g.
