[Class 52 (ii).] A leg and foot rest comprises an upper frame supported on legs and provided with a slack top of flexible material, knee supporting means being provided at a higher elevation. In the example a rectangular frame 3 of wood or metal with slack textile or rubber material 5 suspended from its ends, is supported by an adjustable X-frame, the legs 6 of which are pivoted at 8 to one end of the frame 3 and adjustably connected to the other as by serrations or by pin-and-slot devices. The knee support may comprise a pivoted bridge consisting of arms 15 and a resilient member 14 surrounding a connecting cross-bar.
