Abstract

597,623. Foot-rests. BROOK, J. A. Feb. 21, 1946, No. 5426. [Classes 52(ii) and 52(iii)] The foot supporting member c comprises a flat board pivoted at c<1> to lugs a<2> on a rectangular or U-shaped frame a and supported in the position of use by abutting against a transverse bar b on the frame. The board c can be folded to lie flat against the frame a and has at its free end a folding leg d so that the device can be used as a seat or table, the leg d being held in position of use by a strut e. In the folded position the leg d is secured by a clip f. Rubber covered feet a<3> are provided on the frame a, and a latch b engages over a stud b2 to retain the board c in the position of use.
