821,284. Stands. TOMADO N. V. Dec. 6, 1955, No. 34889/55. Class 128 An adjustable stand for a dish, bowl or like vessel comprises two frames 1, each having two parts, each shaped to form a foot 2 and a horizontal arm 3. The arms of each frame cross and are pivoted together at a point 5. The ends of the arms 3 of one frame are pivotally connected, at points 4, to the ends of corresponding arms 3 of the other frame to form an articulated, parallelogram-shaped, vesselsupporting platform. Two U-shaped members 6 are pivotally connected, at the ends of horizontal extensions of their limbs, to the middle points 7 of the sides of the articulated platform, to form a support for a heating device 9, such as a candle or waxlight. The members 6 may be pivotally connected at their crossing point 8. Each frame may have a handle 10, each end of which is pivotally connected to one of the two parts of the frame. The frames can be moved towards or away from each other to suit the size of the vessel.
