Magneto-electric machines. - A magnetoelectric generator is provided with a cobalt-steel rotating magnet and a single stationary armature having laminated pole-pieces and core integral with one another. Fig. 1 show the magnet A having cheeks A<2>, A<3> each having two diametrically opposite extensions A<4>, A<5> on which are mounted laminated pole-pieces B, Fig. 3, secured by dove-tail pieces A<10> or by bolts or studs H. A sleeve A' of non-magnetic material may surround the magnet or form a seating for the extensions.
