Abstract

171,401. Neyret, J. March 3, 1920, [Convention date]. Magneto - electric machines.-A magneto in which the permanent magnet is utilized as the flywheel of an internalcombustion engine of the type described in Specification 159,830, and is in the form of an almost complete circle with polar projections has its armature, Fig. 2, formed with four coils arranged at the ends of two diameters intersecting at right - angles, the three coils 18 supplying the lighting current and the remaining coil 16 generating current for ignition. The Specification, as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a), comprises a 1 s o two modified armature constructions. F i g. 2 (Cancelled) shows an armature with winding 19, for ignition only, wound on the body, and in Fig. 4 (Cancelled) the armature has three polar projections 15, 16, 15', the central projection 16 carrying the ignition winding, the outer projections being joined together by a thin iron segment 17. This subjectmatter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
