Abstract
202,304. Bosch Akt.-Ges., R. Aug. 12, 1922, [Convention date]. Magneto - electric machines; machines with two or more armatures; pole-pieces. - The pole-pieces of a compound machine excited by permanent magnets 4 and comprising a lighting armature 1 and an ignition armature 7 are brought close together so as to provide return paths for the flux of each armature; the air-gaps 6, 11 may differ in width. Specification 171,087 is referred to. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) describes the application of the magnetic shunt to a single-armature machine. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
