Abstract
166,714. Tisdell, T. A. April 22, 1920 Spring devices.-A motor or other cycle fork is coupled to the lower extremity of the steering- head by links b, Fig. 1, and is adapted to slide with relation to members c, which are connected to the steering-head by a leaf-spring g serving to control rocking movement of the fork. Compression springs d act on the members c, and rebound springs may also be provided. The leafspring is secured to the fork crown, and may have an extension h connected to the upper part of the steering-head. In modifications, the part h may be separate and inverted, the members c may be connected to the centre of a leaf-spring g', Fig. 3, having its upper end mounted between guides i<1>, i<2>, or the members c may be connected to the lower end of a leaf-spring, the upper end of which is connected to the upper part of the steering- head.
