Spring devices. - In a link-mounted spring-fork, of the type having a compression spring D interposed between a bridge-piece B<2> on the fork B and the upper end of a depending arm E of inverted-cup or other form pivoted to a lug F on the steering-head A, a recoil spring G is rigidly secured at its lower end to a cup E<2> on the arm E and at its upper end to an inverted cup B<3> on a lug B<4> rigidly secured to the fork blades. Either the upper or lower spring, or both springs, may be duplicated.
