165,906. Pullin, C. G., and Groom, S. L. March 3, 1920. Regulating.-In a two-stroke-cycle engine drawing a charge through a valve 15 as described in Specification 165,907, [Class 7 (iii), Internal-combustion engines, Carburetting-apparatus &c. for], and through a passage 14 into the crank case, where it is compressed and then delivered to the cylinder through the passage 14 and port 12, a valve 29 as described in Specification 165,908 is used to control the working of the engine by returning part of the charge to the crank case during the compression stroke.
