Epicyclic gearing.- In epicyclic speedreducing gearing of the kind in which the driving and driven shafts project into a fixed casing, the planet pinions 7, 8 are mounted at the ends of a shaft 6 on each side of a radial arm 5 fixed to the driving - shaft 2. The pinions gear with sun-wheels 9, 11 on the casing and on the driven shaft 3, which may be a sleeve surrounding the shaft 2 as shown or may project from the opposite side of the casing.
