Regulating; valves.- In applying the invention described in the parent Specification to two-stroke engines, the loaded air float or valve e, which maintains a constant proportion of air to fuel at different speeds, is arranged either as a substitute for, or is placed behind, the air-inlet valve d to the crank chamber. The slide valve d is adjusted by a hand or governor lever a, which also adjusts a wedge b in the fuel-pump actuating mechanism. In a modification, the valve e is loaded by an adjustable spring. The valves d, e, together with the fuel-injection nozzles, may be situated between the compressor and the motor cylinder.
