Fluid governors.-The throttle valve 10 of an internal-combustion engine carburettor is controlled by a fluid governor comprising a cylinder d communicating with the admission pipe on the engine side of the throttle. The governor is loaded by a spring. The throttle valve may also be adjusted independently of the governor by the rod 13.
