Abstract
470,743. Speed governors. BOSCH AKT.-GES., R. March 25, 1937, No. 8771. Convention date, March 25, 1936. [Class 57] The regulating rack 5 of a fuel-injection pump 1 is connected to a spring-loaded diaphragm 7 dividing the housing 6 into chambers 8, 9. The chamber 8 is connected to atmosphere and the chamber 9 is connected by a pipe 10 to a Venturi 12 in the air induction pipe 11 of the engine. The diaphragm 7 engages a stop 23 when it lies in the range of idle running speed. The stop 23 is loaded by a spring 21, the abutment 20 of which is adjusted by a lever 28 connected to a lever 32 which is connected to the throttle valve 13 by a Bowden wire. As the valve 13 closes the loading of the stop 23 is increased,
