153,922. Meyer, J. M., and Henry, P. Nov. 17, 1919, [Convention date]. Addition to 152,622. Charge, moistening; cylinders, pipes for.- A mixture of air and water, supplied from a device resembling a spray carburettor as described in the parent Specification, is delivered into the mixture passing through the induction pipe a through a pipe b provided with an extension c projecting into the induction pipe and having a lateral outlet c‹ which is preferably situated in the axis of the induction pipe. The extension c is carried by a collar d and is secured to the pipe b by a union e which grips collars b<1>, c<1> formed on the pipes b, c against the collar d. The parts b, c, d, e may be slidably mounted relatively to the induction pipe, being pressed inwards by a spring and withdrawn, to vary the degree of obstruction of the inlet pipe, by means such as a fork. Reference has been directed by the Cornptroller to Specification 116,568.
