Abstract
151,946. Maybach-Motorenbau Ges. Oct. 2, 1919, [Convention date]. Draining crank chambers by pumps.-A hand-pump 3 is employed to draw used oil from the crank case 1 of an internal-combustion engine, the suction orifice 4 being situated at the lowest point of the oil space. The outlet 5 from the pump is arranged near an inlet 6 in the casing 1, so that oil can be returned direct to the casing if required.
