Subaqueous audible signals.-The main diaphragm 6 of a sound transmitter or receiver carries an oscillating system consisting of masses 1, 2 linked by an annular diaphragm 4, and the mass 2 is attached to a thin diaphragm 8 which prevents the system from oscillating in any abnormal mode.
