Abstract

1471733 Printing machines MASCHINENFABRIK AUGSBURG - NURNBERG AG 10 May 1974 [11 May 1973] 20880/74 Heading B6C A rotary offset machine has at least two printing cylinders 5, 6 bearing against one transfer cylinder 4, each printing cylinder having an inking and a damping system, at least one of the printing cylinders having a damping system which follows the inking system in the intended direction of rotation of the printing cylinder. As shown, damping systems 9, 10, 11, 12 may be provided, so that the inking systems 7 and 8 have a damping system at either side. In the embodiment of Fig. 1 (not shown), only a single damping system is provided for each printing cylinder, each damping system following its associated inking system in the intended direction of rotation, and the applicator and distributer rollers of the damping systems have inkreceptive surfaces.
