Channels in cylinders and pistons.-To lubricate the bearing-surface of a fixed or oscillating gudgeon pin for internal-combustion engines having a lubricant-supply opening a through the cylinder wall b, ducts c are formed in the piston webs and diametrical bosses d leading to the gudgeon pin g. A longitudinal passage e in the gudgeon pin has end branches communicating with the ducts c and a central branch f leading to the bearing-surface.
