Abstract

169,255. Bradshaw, G. June 21, 1920. Drawings to Specification. Cylinders, pipes for cooling; crank chambers. -The cylinder is almost wholly enclosed in the crank case and is cooled by spraying lubricating oil on to its inner and outer surfaces. The oil is fed by a pump to the crank-pins, and is thrown off from the big ends of the connecting-rods. The induction pipe may be cast in one with the crank case and joins the cylinder where the head of the latter joins the crank case.
