Abstract

Valves.-A sleeve-valve engine has one or more exhaust ports overrun by the piston near the end of the out-stroke, and admission ports distributed around the entire circumference of the cylinder in a stationary wall and situated between the exhaust port or ports and the piston when the latter is at the end of the out-strolce. The particular construction described is the same as that described in concurrent Specifications 155,311 and 155,532 to 155,535.
