Abstract

151,142. Schulz, C. P., and Stafford, E. Aug. 6, 1919. Valves; valve-gear.-A sleeve valve 11, arranged between the cylinder liner 5 and the outer casing 12 and controlling inlet and exhaust ports 14, 15, is rotated by fingers 9 on the gudgeon which project through slots 10 in the cylinder liner and engage cam-grooves 17 in the sleeve. The engine works on the four-stroke cycle.
