Abstract

1433751 Building panels R WALKER 9 April 1973 [24 March 1972] 14088/72 Heading E1B A storey high plastics wall panel has a rearwardly projecting peripheral lip 18, the front surface being formed with an ornamental relief pattern which also strengthens the panel. The lip 18 is reinforced by a timber or hollow metal strip held in place by an angle section strip. Alternatively the lip may be reinforced by an angle iron. The panel may be provided with door or window openings. The panels are secured in a building by rag bolts. A plastic waterproof sealing compound is introduced between adjacent panels. The lips 18 may comprise separate members secured to the sheet 10.
