Abstract

1451772 Laminates TOKYO PLYWOOD KK and N MEGUMI 25 Oct 1973 [7 Nov 1972] 49790/73 Heading B5N [Also in Division E1] A building panel 10 comprises a stepped frame body made up of a small frame 2 and a large frame 1 and a sheet 9 of building material comprising a planar body slightly larger than the smaller frame body, a fibrous felt body, a damp proof planar body and a metallic net 7 united together by metallic fasteners, the stepped frame body and the sheet being fixed together to define a circumferential groove 11. The two frames may be made integrally in one piece from, metal, wood, plastics or concrete. Panels 13 for the internal face of a wall or a floor have the metallic net covered with mortar. The panels are secured by nailing to batten 24 mounted on pillars 23 and connected together by fillets 25 which are wood or wood and metal net. Mortar may be applied over the metallic net.
