Abstract

Intermediate the apices the truss member is of U- shaped cross-section and is of bent strip metal. The undulating trusses may extend laterally as well as longitudinally of the panel and may either be welded directly to a flat face sheet or to channels bent in the sheet or to separate channel 30, 31 which separate channels are in turn welded or fixed with epoxy resin to the sheet plates 21, 22. Plywood or cement board may be fixed to the top sheet plate, and the panels may be used for floor, wall or roof construction.
