Class 20 (4) In order that a partition 17 may be erected without forcing it against the ceiling as it approaches the vertical position, the purlins 4 to which the ceiling boards 16 are attached are adjustably secured to the chord members 5 of the roof trusses 1. The adjustment comprises a slotted plate 13 secured to the chords 5, with bolts 14 securing the purlins in the slots. In the case of a wooden truss, Fig. 7, wooden purlins 24 are secured to the wooden chords 25 by bolts 34 engaging slotted metal plates 33 fixed to wooden cleats 50 secured to the chords. The partitions comprise panels secured to grooved H-shaped junction posts 18.
