893,243. Roofs. CONDER ENGINEERING CO. Ltd. Oct. 1, 1958 [Oct. 4, 1959], No. 39509/60. Divided cut of 893,242. Classes 20(3) and 20(4) Purlins W, Fig. 1, of flanged Z cross-section are connected in alignment by a splicing plate S of Z cross-section having holes in its web whereby it can be connected to each purlin by at least two nuts and bolts. The purlins are connected to the girders R, Fig. 3, by cleats J which are attached to the purlins by two of the splice plate connecting bolts, one passing through each purlin. A glazing section G is secured to the lower and upper flanges respectively of adjacent purlins W, the lower of which is spaced from the girders R at a greater distance than the upper one.
